چکیده

Emission from the 212 − 111 line of H2CO has been detected and marginally resolved toward LkCa15 by the Nobeyama Millimeter Array. The column density of H2CO is higher than that observed in DM Tau and than predicted by theoretical models of disk chemistry, and the line intensity profile is less centrally peaked than that for CO. Similar behavior is observed in other organic gaseous molecules in the LkCa15 disk.

Warm molecular layers in protoplanetary disks

We have investigated molecular distributions in protoplanetary disks, adopting a disk model with a temperature gradient in the vertical direction. The model produces sufficiently high abundances of gaseous CO and HCO to account for line observations of T Tauri stars using a sticking probability of unity and without assuming any non-thermal desorption. In regions of radius R ∼> 10 AU, with which...

Constraints on the radial distribution of the dust properties in the CQ Tauri protoplanetary disk

Context. Grain growth in protoplanetary disks is the first step towards the formation of the rocky cores of planets. Models predict that grains grow, migrate, and fragment in the disk and predict varying dust properties as a function of radius, age, and physical properties. High-angular resolution observations at more than one (sub-)mm wavelength are the essential tool for constraining grain gr...

A multi-wavelength analysis for interferometric (sub-)mm observations of protoplanetary disks Radial constraints on the dust properties and the disk structure

Context. The growth of dust grains from sub-μm to mm and cm size is the first step towards the formation of planetesimals. Theoretical models of grain growth predict dust properties to change as a function of disk radius, mass, age and other physical conditions. High angular resolution observations at several (sub-)mm wavelengths constitute the ideal tool to directly probe the bulk of dust grai...
